Tears

Tears slide down the contours of her face,

Each one filled with reminders of the past.

When hearts beat as one and love was new,

But time is cruel and the story told as souls age and drift apart,

Is a forgotten one.

Time slowly descends on what once was, asking for nothing and promising

everything.

Attempting to fill a void…

The Shadow of Yesterday and The Promise of Tomorrow

Shadows grow long as the days disappear,

The reversal of time heeds its call.

Cold dark nights are upon us,

Each lovers embrace a stark reminder of what once was.

Passing silently in each others arms,

The warmth of yesterday fades into the glowing embers

And the wispy grey ashes of every lost love and the memories shared.

With time diverted and memories now deferred, the hope of tomorrow

Brings the promise of new life, new love and a warm embrace.

Watching

Watching

Meandering

Unchartered journeys wait

Eyes to be opened, sharing thoughts

Perceptions of each new kind soul

Each new reality

Defines us as

Just one

Lost in Thought

Wandering through the night sky

Lost in thought, hoping for clarity

Answers found in a cerebral swirl

Floating in time, endless

The misty haze of reality kept at bay

Content in the place that allows for hope

Safe, warm and secure, don’t let go

To See Through My Eyes

To see what I see

Frequent and far reaching delusions spread through time

From the carnival barkers dais.

Lies penetrate the forgotten soul,

Sweeping through the barren wasteland of the mind,

Tortured senses beaten down by an incessant silky haze of

Memories…best…kept…hidden.

I Walk Alone

I walk alone.

Alone in the wisdom of the woods

Alone with the love of natures embrace

I walk alone.

Alone in each step, the drumbeat of the distant wanderers

Alone, searching for truth in the infinite space

That is the wilderness, my life, my love

Forever marking time
