Hidden Pain
The pain,
Hidden behind
Closed eyes that say nothing,
Silent screams in a mist of tears
That seep through ducts of sadness and
Beauty, each tear a thought,
A call to arms,
Today
Recluse
A question pondered
Cerebral ice a thin line,
Seclusion, exile,
Razor sharp reality
A burden imposed by one
Alone
Standing on the road
Cars rush by, antiquated
Faces, empty and blank,
Stare back, sadness is the tale,
Eyes, vacant and lonely, see
My Friend
My friend
Lies by my side,
Chest rising and falling
In rhythmic madness, eyes shifting
As dreams invade his being, his
Breath reasurring, calm,
Bringing peace to
Us all
Time
The sands of time move
Quickly through the hour glass
Of a forgotten
Era, granules slipping,
Falling, asking for nothing
A Soft Sunrise
Fractured rays of light,
Nebulous sunrise provides
Diverse beginnings,
The new day sliding along
A razor thin precipice
Snowfall
Quiet calm sweeps over the woods as
Peaceful fluffy flakes softly fall.
Wrapped in a cloak of winter,
Each inhabitant surveys the new landscape,
As an unspoiled white blanket awaits.
First (Real) Snow?
Thick clouds rolling in
Winters tale will soon be told
Falling softly now
Children smile, hoping, seeking
The fallacy of lost time
The Sunrise
The visual cues
Heed the call of a new day
Soul affirming peace
