“Cold and silence. Nothing quieter than snow. The sky screams to deliver it, a hundred banshees flying on the edge of the blizzard. But once the snow covers the ground, it hushes as still as my heart.” -Laurie Halse Anderson
“A cold wind was blowing from the north, and it made the trees rustle like living things.”— George R.R. Martin
Sitting in my house watching the snow fall makes me wish for winters quick exit and an even quicker arrival of spring. At the time of this posting we are one foot into possibly two feet of snow!
The silent falling of the snow always amazed me.
Keep warm, stay safe and forgive me when I say, I am so glad I left MI last November and spent my first snow-less winter in southern California.
Hugz to you,
ren

I do love snow, not just so much at one time!!! I am sure that you are enjoying a nice warm sunny day right now! Take care.

You are right, that much snow all at once can play havoc and make clean up rough. Be safe and hugz…

I love your George R.R.Martin quote. I’ve read the whole series and the other night started to re-wartch the HBO series from the beginning for the second time. The groundhog was right. Winter is Coming. Finally.
