“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
-Elliott Erwitt
My daughter had another photo project that I found interesting and though I would participate in. For this project she had to find something in the “unseen” side of Mahopac, New York. This house is along a pretty well traveled road and even though we go by it just about every day, you never really see it.
Beautiful capture! I’d love to know the story behind that home. Looks like it had many a wonderful day.

I am researching the house now to see how many owners etc. You are correct, the history of the home should be interesting.
